Harvest Festival

img_0944Today was the day of the first Harvest Festival for St. Augustine’s School. This morning it was the turn of the younger children (FS2, Year 1 and Year2) and this afternoon the older children took over. It was great to be able to celebrate Harvest in the beautiful Priory Church and we all felt very special to be part of such a long standing tradition.img_0941

Both groups of children were absolutely brilliant – a credit to us as usual and it was very special to hear all of the positive comments from the parents, grandparents and friends who clearly enjoyed it very much. img_0952

Can’t wait for next year!!

The harvest festival was amazing. I am so proud to be a part of a school that can pull together to produce such a wonderful show for the local community. Well done everyone!

It was scary standing in front of everyone reading our poems to everyone, which includes our parents, but also fun! We all had fun at church and it was amazing to have a chance to show of our work!

We had a amazing experience at the priory church reading our haiku poems, showing our pastel drawings of fruit and singing harvest songs.
